Springfield Christmas shoot 17th Dec....
« on: December 05, 2017, 16:32 »
Last chance saloon (probably) for a shoot before the excesses of Christmas.
If it's the usual format then entry is an unwrapped item with a value up to £5, though personally I prefer the secret Santa route of wrapping and unknown present as it gives more scope for mischief... ;D

........unfortunately it also gives the Scrooge’s out there the option to wrap a £2 box of chocolates. Previous experience at Spring, hence the change.

11:00 kick off, 30 targets only, nearly to BFTA rules although you may require a few more markings on your wheel at the far end😳 and might be the odd slightly mini-mini. Also a peg in the gate for anyone wishing to get their belly in the mud and shoot from the dark side.

You say that but the one year I remember one popped up in the presents Holly got it. Of course no one owned up but I think all suspicions were on Big Paul... ;D

Not much of a suspicion there really. Pretty much a fact I would have thought.
Its wasn't me, it was the one armed man.

Rex’s idea of an unwrapped present is a place you don’t want to go..........!

Life is a rich tapestry it's just that Rex's bit of it is somewhere way out there and it's probably best to keep it that way...:D

So, are we all still geared up for Sunday's shoot?
I know it's only Tuesday but I missed a shoot Sunday due to the damn snow so I need a fix... ;D

Long-term forecast for Sunday is showing -2ºC and being Springfield you can knock off at least another 3º, factor in the wind chill and yes it will almost be as cold as Stalingrad... ;D

......and with a mandatory 70 yard prone position lane for all disciplines and a handful of 10mm kills in the trees should only add to the fun. Apparently Big Paul has had the hose out on the Lane all week

Course is out, nice and friendly for a Christmas shoot (sort of ;D), Barry has the nibbles, don’t forget your unwrapped pressie, as this is your entry. Plink and hut open from 9ish with shoot starting at a rather friendly 11:00. Only 30 targets so time to stuff your faces with Barry’s buffet after.
